Opis
Prevod dela: Pluton, (psiho)dinamika sence in kompleksov, avtor in prevajalec Matjaž Regovec.
The planet and the archetype of Pluto describe the fundamental dynamics of the unconscious. It influences us in a hidden way, and we recognise it by its depth and transformation. Plutonian themes are invisible, much like Hades was invisible in mythology. Until we begin working on ourselves in-depth, and really face our inner processes, it is possible that we project Pluto onto our surroundings. Still, Hades also means hidden riches that, unless recognised and integrated, would represent some lost opportunity for our own development and progress in life.
The areas of shadow and complexes are also directly related to Pluto. The shadow was already known in mythology and fairy tales as the dynamics of evil. As a psychological phenomenon, it has also been exploited by authors in literature, and in this book the author delves into the dynamics of The Lord of the Rings and the folktale of The Golden Bird in order to clearly illustrate the workings of the shadow and the possible paths of psychological development while encountering it.
Complexes are so obvious that we have started to use them en masse in the course of our everyday conversation. On a conscious level, we are convinced that it is the sense of oneself that is our most important inner centre, and it is certainly important to be able to feel ourselves in our personality and to work from there. Yet there is also a more complex core within us, whose workings we experience only occasionally and which can betray our conscious endeavours. But if we are aware of the workings of the complexes, we can use them to accelerate our personal and spiritual development.
The chapters in the book, all based on transcripts of audio recordings of seminars, include:
• an in-depth treatment of the psychodynamics of Pluto and a detailed interpretation of its various cosmological positions;
• the dynamics of the shadow in its inner psychological as well as its outer context; and
• the basic workings of complexes and possible paths of resolution and evolution.
