Volume 8 of the COGITO INDIVIDUATIONIS series contains the description of “the bodily cogito” and the physical-material dimension of the individuation process. The bodily cogito consists of both perceiving the reality of one’s own actual lived experiences, and the dynamics of one’s actual acts and deeds, with which one materialises one’s own unique and inimitable individuation. The author explores the “individuational bodily cogito”, or the dynamics of those (non)acts and (non)deeds that are of a special significance to the enactment of one’s uniques and non-repeatable individual life. The alchemy of the bodily cogito in relation to the other three dimensions of cogito coniunctionis (the psychic, the thinking, and the intuitive) is explored in some depth, and the three cosmological archetypes of the bodily cogito (Capricorn, Taurus and Virgo) are presented and elaborated upon.
