In Volume 4 of the COGITO INDIVIDUATIONIS series, the author is exploring the individuum, collective, and the individuation process, as well as identity, identification and self-portraiture as the art of individuation. How do we fashion our own self-image? Two distinct basic ways of developing an identity are explored. The first express the wholeness of man’s being and Being: the spiritual, the psychic, and the bodily. The second however, exclusively concerns the development of the thinking identity. With the assistance of the ideas fungating in the art of self-portraiture, an important dimension of the dynamic aspect of man’s holistic individual identity, and how it forms the basis for the individuation process, is explored. Man’s individual identity is always ‘in the making’. Finally, some cosmological archetypes of the development of identity are presented and analysed.
V četrti knjigi serije COGITO INDIVIDUATIONIS avtor raziskuje individuuma, kolektiv in proces individuacije, pa tudi identiteto, identifikacijo in avtoportretiranje kot umetnost individuacije. Kako oblikujemo lastno samopodobo? Obravnavana sta dva različna osnovna načina razvijanja identitete. Prvi izraža celovitost človekovega bivanja in bivanja: duhovno, duševno in telesno. Drugi pa se izključno nanaša na razvoj miselne identitete. S pomočjo idej, ki vznikajo v umetnosti avtoportreta, je raziskana pomembna razsežnost dinamičnega vidika človekove celostne individualne identitete in način, kako ta tvori osnovo procesa individuacije. Človekova individualna identiteta je vedno »v nastajanju«. Na koncu so predstavljeni in analizirani nekateri kozmološki arhetipi razvoja identitete.
